Purpose=Providing

I wrote this during such a critical time with the Virus hitting us and so many of us having to stay at home to do our part with the social distancing. I hear so many stories about people being bored and trying to find things to do. This is a time for you to focus on your purpose. Adversity will help you grow and gain new understandings. I firmly believe that finding your purpose everyday and for your life is important. Your purpose is what gets you up in the morning and is what gets you excited about the day ahead. Your purpose is why you are excited to be alive. I also believe that when you are providing for others your purpose becomes more clear and has more meaning. What do I mean by providing for others? Doing random acts of kindness, providing a service for somebody, giving somebody sound advice that will help them prosper, or calling somebody just to see how they are doing are all examples of providing for people. When I go to the grocery store, I see how hard the workers at the store are working for all of us. They are providing the basic needs for our lives. They are all working long hard hours for us and they are tired and worn out. What can we provide for them? Start with just saying thank you for all their hard work. Make it your mission to go out of your way to say thank you to these workers. It is the same for all of the medical personnel who are going way and above the call of duty for all the sick right now. These people are putting their lives on the line everyday for the good of all, sending a text or a tweet out to thank these people who are providing so much for all of us is a huge boost for them. Say thank you to all the educators who are adapting to a new way of teaching to make sure that our kids are getting educated, and are assuring that our kids knowledge continues to grow. They are working long hours of implementing new techniques to make sure our kids are still learning. Say thank you to all the small business owners trying to stay alive right now. They are working around the clock to provide the goods and services that all of us need. These are just some examples of people who are providing for us. Do your part and find your purpose by finding ways to provide for those who are providing for us.
